A three-storey residential building. Located on the corner of Lista and Voronogo streets.

The entrance door was not preserved. The entrance is highlighted with a semicircular pilaster.

On the side, there are two porthole windows illuminating the staircase.

The facade has an original mica plaster of matte gray-brown shades. Horizontal and vertical belt courses decorate the main facade plane on both sides. The windows still have their original carpentry.

The corner part of the house, except for the corner windows, stands out with plaster of a different shade. There are still a few authentic flower grilles near the windows.

The interior is strikingly luxurious for laconic modernism. The ground floor is lined with artificial marble and alabaster from the floor to the ceiling, which is extremely rare in such houses.

There is an elevator with art deco decoration – grilles that are made in characteristic shapes with notches (carvings).

A staircase balustrade winds around the elevator: partially made of artificial marble, while its base is cast in cement. Landings are made of artificial marble.

The railing is made of chrome-plated metal and bent iron elements intertwined in an arched ornament and echoing the bars on the elevator. The windowsills are also made of artificial marble.

Each landing between stories is decorated with sgraffito panels depicting rural life.

The sources tell us that the architect Grzymalski designed this house for Professor Adam Gruca, although there is no reliable information that the professor lived there. Adam Gruca is the founder of the Lviv and Polish School of Orthopedic Traumatologists, professor, head of the Department of General Surgery at Lviv University. He left the city in 1943.

During the Nazi occupation of Lviv in 1941-1944, this building housed the headquarters of the SS commander, who also served as deputy governor of the District of Galicia. Nowadays, the building houses the district state administration of the Halyckyi district.
